Mount Pleasant is the town east of the Copper River by way of the Ravenel Bridge from the city. It is the connector island to the beaches of Isle of Palms and Sullivan's Island. Approximately 80,000 residents, centrally located to get to the city or the beaches. The oldest area called The Old Village is very charming and many homes on the water. The newer residential area of Mt Pleasant is north of the Isle of Palms connector. Many new communities located in this area with amenities such as golf, tennis and swimming.
Many outdoor activities happening here from the kayakers, paddle boarders and fishermen on Shem Creek to the folks enjoying the outdoors at one of the many creekside venues. My favorite restaurants are Stacks, Langdon's, PaPa ZuZu's, La Pizzeria and anything on Shem Creek!
